Who are we?

At SAM we live by the motto “Value through people”. This means that we see people as the most important factor in creating value in businesses and organizations. We know that our own success is built on every individual in our team, and on the clients and candidates we have collaborated with and are currently collaborating with.

We are professionals with backgrounds in various leadership roles and industries, and we have extensive experience in finding the right employee for each position. This has led to the formation of our collective and international “SAM community”, where each search process involves at least two of the most suitable consultants for the assignment.

We ensure not only that the most competent candidate is hired but also that the values, leadership style and culture are a good match between the candidate and your company.

Our background

Our more than 30-year history actually began with our founder, Niels Schreiner Andersen, starting out as a business consultant. An early Wingmanager, one might say!

 

Soon Niels was asked if he could help find a new CEO for a Danish company. With his strong network, and his solid knowledge and understanding of how to build a healthy and sustainable business, this went quickly and was extremely successful. It was the start of a more than 30-year history of successful executive search, recruitment and other HR-related assignments. It was also the start of an internationalization that during the 90s and 00s took SAM out into Europe and the world. Collaborations were entered into and wholly owned subsidiaries were created, and SAM expanded its name to better reflect the current scope of the business.

 

Today, the international character is definitely still there, and we are currently active in 12 markets in Europe. International assignments are part of both our DNA and our everyday life.

 

Furthermore, we have come full circle, as business development and management consulting are a natural part of our everyday life as Wingmanagers, just as they once were for Niels.

The business of the future is also created through people

Despite the massive impact AI has already had on society and businesses, and which of course will not diminish in the future, we still believe in the human encounter.

 

We believe in looking beyond CVs and lists of skills. We believe in talking and coaching face to face, but we are not averse to using new technology! We believe that a combination is best.
